We are thrilled to have Dr. Courtney Butler join our team at Third Street Dental! She will be working with Dr. Melissa Skinner to offer the highest quality dentistry to our patients.
As many of you know, Dr. Gail Landsberger retired from dentistry one year ago. She is missed, but we are very happy she is enjoying full retirement.
As our dental practice grows, we feel Dr. Courtney Butler is the perfect addition. Her practice philosophy is very similar to Melissa’s and Gail’s, and that is to provide the highest quality dentistry possible. Courtney treats her patients in a comprehensive, conservative, and comfortable manner. Her patients can be comforted in knowing that she will treat them by looking out for their best interests. As technology and materials rapidly evolve in dentistry, Courtney is committed to ongoing learning. Her patients can trust that she will provide excellent and gentle care for them.
Courtney feels very fortunate to have been born and raised in Vancouver. She went on to obtain her bachelors of science degree from the University of Victoria, and then completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of British Columbia.
Courtney is passionate about volunteerism and has been involved with multiple projects, including dental outreach clinics in Vietnam, Guatemala, Chemainus, and East Vancouver. In dental school, Courtney was elected to be the ‘Ethics and Equity Representative’ for her class. She was also elected to be a clinical coordinator for a multi-disciplinary clinic in the underserved Downtown East Side.
Before fulfilling her dream to move to beautiful North Vancouver, Courtney spent a few years working at other busy family practices in Calgary and East Vancouver. Aside from her passion for dentistry, Courtney enjoys the west coast lifestyle. You may catch her on a hiking trail, bike, or ski hill! She also loves cooking, photography, and travel.
Courtney looks forward to meeting our family of patients and providing excellent dentistry for years to come.
